So I went to Sapporo with my bestie for the first night of Arashi's 「untitled」 Tour 2017-2018, and let me just say, it was brilliant as expected. We got to Sapporo on the 16th November and flew out on the 21st.

Thursday
We got there about midday on the Thursday to be greated with a JAL advertisement of our beautiful boys:

After which we went straight to our apartment (Airbnb) where we had a quick wash and headed out to try and buy stuff to make uchiwa...We succeeded in buying a load of stuff from the 100yen shop but, were really far to tired to actually finish them so maybe next time.

We then went to the local
Bikkuri Donkey, a really cheap and cheerful hambagu restaurant, in homage to Nino for dinner. I had a fondue cheese one and my friend a curry one. So good!

Friday
On the day of the concert we woke up earlyish and went shopping in Sapporo...aka Mandarake, which is a great shop for any idol or anime goods etc, where we started our Arashi spending spree. I finally managed to buy the Blast in Hawaii Ohno photo set and Digitalian clear file which I have been looking for for a while now, having collected the other members. I also got a photo set of Jun-pon looking dashing as always :D

We then had a quick udon lunch before rushing back to get ready for the concert.

Wow getting to the concert was absolutely manic! we got to the subway station and it was packed like Tokyo rush hour, and when the first train pulled up that was too. Only about 2-3 people could squeeze on per door! It took us about 4 trains before we could squeeze on, and I spent the whole time literally cuddling my friend as I couldn't reach a hand hold and there was nowhere else to go. When you got off there was this shrine of Arashi CMs

We finally got to the venue about 90mins before the event so we went straight to buy our goods and before we new it it was time to go see our wonderful boys live.

-Concert Report-

Afterwards you had a long queue to get to the station, which I decided halfway through I really need the the loo, so we had to rejoin it at the back ^^; oops!  Finally we got back to our station where we again went to said hambagu restaurant, this time swapping dishes haha.

Saturday
This day we had a slow start before going back to Mandarake...and bought more Arashi goods hehe. This time I bought the Love concert t-shirt, two more MatsuJun photo sets and a Sho-chan one. Such cute sets :3
We had katsu sets for lunch, they were very saku saku, and the miso had tiny clams in them, it made us think of Sho-chan.

We went on from here to the Sapporo Beer Museum where we got caught in the ever increasing snow.  It was soo pretty :D

We also had a set of beers, the Black Label, the Classic and the original Kaitakushi from when the company started. Followed by dinner at their restaurants,
Kessel Hall, where we tried Sapporo's famous Ghengis Khan dish (lamb) and the museum only Sapporo Five Star.  All very good, in my opinion!

After this we went for Araoke at the local Big Echo where we sung from about 9-1:30, such a good night

Sunday
Sunday we got up early to go to the Hokeikyo onsen This was just the best, the snow was falling, the scenery was white, you could see mountains in the distance and you could just relax outside in the fresh air in the hot springs.  We also had a curry there, with this absolutely huge naan with it. Very tasty!

I think we had one last visit to Mandarake, where I got the Blast in Hawaii Arashi and Ohno clear file :D, so happy another set complete :)

Monday
So Monday was our last full day, we ended up finishing packing and a visit to Maruyama Zoo. This was such a cute zoo, and seeing it in the snow made it magical.

With that it was time to move to leave our apartment and move to the hostel near the airport.  The best part about this was we got to meet some lovely Japanese people.  First there was the taxi driver, then the ladies from Shizuoka and finally the reception lady at the hostel.  Just a really lovely end to our journey.

Tuesday
Off home we went, the dream was over...but it will live on in our memories...and now this blog post :D
